"Like other full moon’s, this lunar eclipse is a time of completion for things started at the last new moon. The theme of the previous new moon was resolving difficulties in love relationships. This lunar eclipse also marks the final two weeks of an eclipse cycle which began with the November 2012 Solar Eclipse. The theme of this eclipse cycle has been dealing with toxicity within relationships, such as confusion, jealousy and suspicion. Some relationships are ending, some are beginning, and some are being saved from the brink. This April 2013 lunar eclipse shows that all relationships issues can resolved in the weeks ahead but it not easy. It will be emotionally testing and requires some sacrifices."-astrologyking.com

"A smudging ceremony is often carried out for the purpose of clearing negative energy, and inviting peace, harmony, and ease into a person's life, a challenging situation, or an uneasy or negative environment.  To carry out a productive ceremony, you need to be clear about your intent and focus on what you are trying to accomplish.  White Sage leaves, Mugwort, Cedar, Sweetgrass, or Tobacco (powder or leaf form) from the Native American tradition of the Shamans and people of North and South America are primarily used in smudging ceremonies."

"Charles Fort's guide to Darwinism: The fittest survive. What is meant by the fittest? Not the strongest; not the cleverest. Weakness and stupidity everywhere survive. There is no way of determining fitness except in that a thing does survive. 'Fitness', then, is only another name for 'survival.' Darwinism: The survivors survive."- Book of the Damned, 1919

"Human consciousness arose but a minute before midnight on the geological clock.  Yet we mayflies try to bend an ancient world to our purposes, ignorant perhaps of the message buried in its long history. Let us hope that we are still here in the early morning of our April day." -Stephen Jay Gould (1941-2002) American Paleontologist and Evolutionary Biologist

"What is it about humans that makes us feel so special?  Only one key factor, our intelligence, seems to be more developed than that of most, maybe all other beings on the planet.

We cannot even be sure that we are the most intelligent, since we have no way of assessing the intelligence of bigger-brained whales, 3,000 year-old trees, or the group intelligence of something like a giant underground fungus organism which may stretch for several kilometers and survive thousands of years.  But we are very smart creatures and intelligence is a big feature of being human, compensating us well for most of our other deficiencies.  We may not be able to smell as well as a lowly moth, see as sharply as a soaring eagle, or stomp as hard as an angry elephant, but we can develop machines that do.

Are we better equipped to enjoy life than other beings, whether we actually manage to do so or not?  Is our spirit able to carry on after death in a more coherent form than does the spirit of an old elephant, a cricket or an ancient tree?  Are we cosmically something special?
That's another exciting thing about being human-however intelligent and knowledgeable we become, there will always be questions which we cannot answer and phenomena we cannot understand." - Gregory Sams, Sun of God

The Khabomety Chichen Itza Rubelite Pyramid Pendant

March Equinox: March 20th 2013 at 11:02 UTC:

On the equinox, night and day are nearly exactly the same length -12 hours- all over the world.  Equinox is derived from Latin, meaning 'equal night'.

Equinoxes mark the celebration of new beginnings.  One of the most famous ancient Spring equinox celebration was the Mayan sacrificial ritual by the main pyramid in Chichen Itza.  The main pyramid, known as El Castillo, has four staircases running from the top to the bottom of the pyramid's faces.  The staircases are built at a carefully calculated angle which makes it look like an enormous snake of sunlight slithering down the stairs at the exact moment of the equinox.

Animal Form...

"We (humans) share 95% or more of our DNA with most domesticated animals, from pigs to cattle to hamsters to cats.  Together with DNA, the mammals all share recognizable behavioural traits when its comes to things like territory, fear, sex, parenting, eating, and social interaction.  Many of the hormones, secretions, and fluids of domesticated mammals are similar to our own, and capable of affecting human behaviour.  Indeed, we harvest animal hormones for this purpose medicinally, taking insulin from pigs to treat diabetes, and HRT product from horse urine to treat menopausal women.  The body chemicals produced by other mammals during the shock and horror of impending slaughter are likely to be triggering similar chemical receptors in our brains, prompting fear, despair, and hostility."

"Eating, whether done by anteaters, bees, cattle, or human beings, is essentially the transmutation of one life form's components into another life form.  The simplest global guidance I ever received on this matter came from George Ohsawa, the father of macrobiotics, who advises us to eat 'as far away from yourself as possible'." -Gregory Sams

Human Form: DNA is a snake-shaped master of transformation that lives in water and is both extremely long and small, single and double.

"The average human being is made up of 100 thousand billion cells, according to some estimates.  This means that there are approximately 125 billion miles of DNA in a human body-corresponding to 70 round trips between Saturn and the Sun. You could travel your entire life in a Boeing 747 at top speed and you would not even cover one hundredth of this distance.  Your personal DNA is long enough to wrap around the earth 5 million times." The Cosmic Serpent, Jeremy Narby

"The genetic information of a human being, called 'genome', is contained in three billion letter spread out along a single filament of DNA.  In some places, this filament winds around itself to form 23 more compact segments known as 'chromosomes'.  We all inherit a complete set of chromosomes from each of our parents, and so we have 23 pairs of chromosomes.  Each chromosomes is made up of a very long thread of DNA which is already a double message  to begin with- the main text on one ribbon, and the complimentary duplicate on the other.  Thus our cell all contain two complete genomes as well as their backup copies.  Our genetic message is doubly double and contains a total of six billion pairs, or twelve billion letters.  The DNA contained in the nucleus of a human cell is two yards long, and the two ribbons that make up this filament wrap around each other several hundred million times.  As far as its material aspect or its form is concerned, DNA is a doubly double text that wraps around itself.  In other word, it is a "language-twisting-twisting"."  - The Cosmic Serpent, Jeremy Narby

The majority of the forest is contained within Brazil, with 60% of the rainforest, followed by Peru with 13%, Colombia with 10%, and with minor amounts in Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, Guyana, Suriname and French Guiana. States or departments in four nations contain "Amazonas" in their names. The Amazon represents over half of the planet's remaining rainforests, and it comprises the largest and most species-rich tract of tropical rainforest in the world." - Wikipedia

Rationalism is dead...this is the age of Magic!

"I abandon myself to the fever of dreams, in search for new laws." -Antonin Artaud

"Ayahuascha-based shamanism is an essentially indigenous phenomenon.  It belongs to the indigenous people of Western Amazonia, who held the keys to a way of knowing that they have practiced without interruption for at least five thousand years.  In comparison, the universities of the Western world are less than nine hundred years old.

The shamanism of which the indigenous people of the Amazon are the guardians represent knowledge accumulated over thousands of years in the most biologically diverse place on earth.  Certainly, shamans say they acquire their knowledge directly from the spirits, but they grow up in cultures where shamanic visions are stored in myths.  In this way mythology informs shamanism: The invisible, life-creating maninkari spirits are the ones whose feats Ashaninca mythology relates, and it is also the maninkari who talk to Ashaninca shamans in their visions and tell them how to heal."

"Many of science's central ideas seem to come from beyond the limits of rationalism.  Rene Descartes dreams of an angel who explains the basic principles of materialist rationalism to him; Albert Einstein daydreams in a tram, approaching another and conceives the theory of relativity; James Watson scribbles on a newspaper in a train, then rides his bicycle to reach the conviction (having "borrowed" Rosalind Franklin's radiophotographic work) that DNA has the form of a double helix. And so on." - The Cosmic Serpent, Jeremy Narby

Lemurian Quartz

"Lemuria entered the lexicon of the Occult through the works of Helena Blavatsky, who claimed to have been shown an ancient, pre-Atlantean Book of Dzyan by the Mahatmas. Lemuria is mentioned in an 1882 Mahatma letter to A.P. Sinnett.  According to L. Sprague de Camp, Blavatsky's concept of Lemuria was influenced by other contemporaneous writers on the theme of Lost Continents, notably Ignatius L. Donnelly, American cult leader Thomas Lake Harris and the French writer Louis Jacolliot.

Within Blavatsky's complex cosmology, which includes seven "Root Races", Lemuria was occupied by the "Third Root Race", described as being about 7 feet (2.1 m) tall, sexually hermaphroditic, egg-laying, mentally undeveloped and spiritually more pure than the following "Root Races". Before the coming of the Lemurians, the second "Root Race" is said to have dwelled in Hyperborea. After the subsequent creation of mammals, Mme Blavatsky revealed to her readers, some Lemurians turned to bestiality. The gods, aghast at the behavior of these "mindless" men, sank Lemuria into the ocean and created a "Fourth Root Race" – endowed with intellect – on Atlantis." -Wikipedia

Atlantis (in Greek, Ἀτλαντὶς νῆσος, "island of Atlas") is a legendary island first mentioned in Plato's dialogues Timaeus and Critias, written about 360 BC. According to Plato, Atlantis was a naval power lying "in front of the Pillars of Hercules" that conquered many parts of Western Europe and Africa 9,000 years before the time of Solon, or approximately 9600 BC. After a failed attempt to invade Athens, Atlantis sank into the ocean "in a single day and night of misfortune". - Wikipedia

The Sphinx

"A sphinx is a mythical creature with, as a minimum, the body of a lion and the head of a human.  In Greek tradition, it has the haunches of a lion, the wings of a great bird, and the face of a woman. She is mythicized as treacherous and merciless. Those who cannot answer her riddle suffer a fate typical in such mythological stories, as they are killed and eaten by this ravenous monster. Unlike the Greek sphinx which was a woman, the Egyptian sphinx is typically shown as a man (anandrosphinx). In addition, the Egyptian sphinx was viewed as benevolent in contrast to the malevolent Greek version and was thought of as a guardian often flanking the entrances to temples." -Wikipedia

Libyan Gold Tektite

"Libyan Gold Tektite is a glassy yellow material and is found in the Sahara desert in Libya and Egypt.  It is also known by the name Libyan Desert Glass.  Scientists are unsure of the origins of this material, and some doubt that it can be classified as a Tektite, although it is found in the same areas which meteorites have been discovered.  In ancient Egypt, the funerary necklace of King Tutankhamen had its centerpiece a large carved scarab made from Libyan Gold Tektite.  As with all such ceremonial pieces, this necklace was believed to be imbued with supernatural powers, which it conveyed to the wearer, even after death.

Libyan Tektites carry remarkable energies for enhancing the strength of one's will, one's ability to create, and one's power of manifestation.  They carry extraordinary energies, perhaps due to the tremendous forces involved in their formation in meteor crash explosions.  It is not surprising that Libyan Gold Tektite was used as the centerpiece in the necklace of an ancient Egyptian king-these stones emanate the kind of mystic power associated with the god-kings of old, and they can facilitate the awakening of the inner King or Queen in oneself as well." -Robert Simmons

"Libyan Gold Tektite is a powerful Fire element stone with Storm element overtones.  It activates all chakras, bringing the Golden Ray of illumination into the energy field." - Naisha Ahsian
